Crystal Palace NHS Clinic

Visitor Instructions

By Train

There is an overland train service from London Bridge or London Victoria to Gipsy Hill station or Crystal Palace station. It is approximately a 15-minute walk from either station to the Rehabilitation Centre, however it is up a steep hill, so you may choose to take a taxi or catch a bus.

By Bus

The Rehabilitation Centre is a short walk down the hill from the bus terminus on Crystal Palace Parade. Check routes and timetables with London Transport on 0207 222 1234 or visit

By Car

Entrance to the Rehabilitation Centre is off Farquhar Road and there is free car parking facilities at the Rehabilitation Centre.

By Ambulance Transport

The Trust provides ambulance or car transport to and from the Rehabilitation Centre for any patient who meets the eligibility criteria. Eligibility is assessed by a clinician and reviewed regularly. Please ask your Prosthetist for further information or ask for a ‘Travelling to Bowley Close Rehabilitation Centre’ leaflet from reception.

However, transport adds significantly to the length of the appointment, as it is a requirement that the patient be ready two hours before their appointment time to be collected. Therefore, it is advisable wherever possible, that patients get to and from the Centre themselves, or make alternative arrangements
