Quality Control Technician

We now have an excellent opportunity for a Quality Control Technician, to join our busy Quality Control team based in our rapidly growing facility in Basingstoke.

The Quality Control Team Leader is responsible for inspection of components to ensure conformance to control drawings and documentation.

This is an exciting and challenging role for a pro-active individual, who has proven experience of Quality Control inspection processes and experience of using a variety of measurement tools.

The successful candidate will ideally hold a HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related subject and be able to demonstrate an ability to resolve problems, educate, and work to exacting standards.

They will utilise their skills and experience to take responsibility for:

  • Using a wide range of hand measurement tools (micrometres, plug gauges etc.) and larger pieces of equipment (CMM, VMM etc.) to inspect components.
  • Recording results on company systems.
  • Accurately reporting findings for assessment.
  • Supporting manufacturing staff in any inspection tasks they require.
  • Performing regular verification checks on equipment to ensure readiness for measurement.
  • Providing support in internal review processes.

Therefore, we are ideally looking for a strong communicator with good interpersonal and analytical skills, who is able to work as part of a team or independently with minimal support.
