We now have an excellent opportunity for a Quality Control Engineer, to join our busy Engineering team based in our rapidly growing facility in Basingstoke.

The Quality Control Engineer is responsible for pro-actively pursuing continuous quality improvement throughout the Company, aiding and assisting the Company in its journey to become “best in class”.

This is an exciting and challenging role for a pro-active individual, who has proven experience in implementing control systems & procedures to manage variation, is fully conversant with engineering drawings/specifications and CAD models, with the ability to measure complex parts.

The successful candidate will ideally be qualified to a degree level, or ONC/HNC equivalent; with knowledge of NIKON CMM’s, CAMIO/MODUS software and an understanding of CMM programming philosophy.

They will utilise their skills and experience to take responsibility for:

  • Using a variety of inspection equipment including CMM’s, vision systems, roundness testing equipment, standard engineering & quality equipment.
  • Writing and proving out of own programmes.
  • Producing, interpreting and analysing CMM results.
  • Liaising with a variety of departments.
  • Working to tight time constraints and agreed priorities.
  • Assisting in the pursuit of companywide ownership and implementation of quality improvement & corrective action systems.

Therefore we are ideally looking for a strong communicator with good interpersonal and analytical skills, who is able to work as part of a team or independently with minimal support.

The role is full time and permanent; working 36.5 hours a week Monday to Friday, with an early finish on Friday’s. We offer competitive salaries, excellent benefits and the opportunity to work in a unique manufacturing environment, driving success in an award winning organisation.
