About the Orthotist role:

As an Orthotist with Blatchford you will use your skills to provide your patients with the most appropriate an effective treatment, to meet their individual needs. You will provide clinically appropriate high level orthotic services to a wide range of patients, communicating effectively with the patient and the multi-disciplinary team, to ensure they receive the best possible treatment. There is the opportunity to get involved with clinically challenging clinics, including advanced spinal bracing, and as a result, there is the real potential for you to develop your orthotic skills.

Requirements of the Orthotist:

The successful applicants will therefore be forward thinking clinicians with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. They will provide and promote a high standard of orthotic care and treatment across a range of adult and paediatric patient pathologies, ensuring best practice is always applied. They will be flexible in their approach and work to the highest professional standards, with care and integrity, to maintain our excellent reputation, ensuring full patient satisfaction and subsequently achieving the rewarding duties of this unique role.

Ideally candidates will have post graduate experience, with the enthusiasm to further develop and progress; experience of spinal work is also highly beneficial. It is essential that applicants are qualified in Prosthetics/ Orthotics and are HCPC registered.
