We are now looking for a Mobile App Developer, to work closely with our new product development team and develop mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms to support our orthotic and prosthetic product development.

As a Mobile App Developer with Blatchford, you will take responsibility for:
In order to excel in this role, previous experience in developing and implementing professional applications for iOS and android mobile systems is essential. You will also have a solid understanding of app architecture and programming fundamentals (OOP / SOLID), experience with Unit and automated UI testing and be familiar with software development best practices.
It is beneficial if you have experience developing web applications for PC and mobile platforms and have experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g. Amazon Web Services, Azure). Experience with Bluetooth and WiFi requirements within applications would be advantageous.
Ideally you will have BSc/BEng (honours) degree or equivalent in software engineering or related subject.
The successful candidate will work well as part of a small team and be able to work effectively on their own initiative. They will be proactive and self-motivated, with a flexible approach. They will have outstanding interpersonal skills, demonstrate excellence in planning, organising and communicating on complex projects to meet varying deadlines and have close attention to detail. They will be innovative and forward thinking, and be excited by a challenge!
This is a full time, permanent role; working hours are 36.5 hours per week on Monday to Friday with an early finish on a Friday.
