We now have an excellent opportunity for a Liners Department Team Leader, to join our busy Liner Manufacturing team based in our rapidly growing facility in Basingstoke.

The Liners Department Team Leader is responsible for the efficient running of the department, utilising the skills within the team and developing the team to fulfil current and future requirements.

This is an exciting and challenging role for a pro-active individual, who has proven experience in people management as well as implementing new production processes and tooling.

The successful candidate will ideally hold a HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related subject and be able to demonstrate an ability to resolve problems, educate, and work to exacting standards.

They will utilise their skills and experience to take responsibility for:

  • Managing people, their performance & attendance within the department.
  • Supporting the Materials Manufacturing Manager in improvement activities.
  • Working with the Manufacturing Engineers to implement new processes.
  • Maintaining a high standard of work and conformance to processes as defined by work instructions.
  • Training, development & resourcing to ensure capacity is available to meet current & future requirements.
  • Problem solving & collaboration to resolve technical issues.

Therefore we are ideally looking for a strong communicator with good interpersonal and motivational skills, who is able to work as part of a team or independently with minimal support.

The role is full time and permanent; working 39 hours a week Monday to Friday, with an early finish on Friday’s. We offer competitive salaries, excellent benefits and the opportunity to work in a unique manufacturing environment, driving success in an award winning organisation.
