It was announced today that Blatchford is a MacRobert Award 2016 finalist.
Linx was entered into the award due to its ground-breaking technology within the prosthetics industry. As the world’s first fully integrated lower limb system, the Linx continuously shares information between the knee, ankle and foot to adapt automatically to changing terrains and circumstances, allowing users more freedom, confidence and stability.
Established in 1969, the prestigious MacRobert Award is regarded as the leading prize recognising UK innovation in engineering and is presented by the Royal Academy of Engineering. The winner is presented with a gold medal and a £50,000 cash prize to share between the winning team.
