Mark brings over 20 years of clinical experience to our private practice service. He has worked successfully with many patients to help them achieve their goals and reach their optimum levels of rehabilitation. Mark has also worked with the service men and women at our specialist rehabilitation centre at Headley Court and continues to support the work there. Mark is a registered expert witness and has represented cases at both the Royal courts of justice London and at the court of sessions Glasgow.
Mr Reece is the Principal Prosthetist for Blatchford Clinic in the South of England. With over 15 years of clinical experience, including Clinical Lead of Prosthetics at the world renowned Prosthetic Service at Queen Mary’s Hospital in Roehampton, Mr Reece has developed expertise in the prosthetic treatment of complex lower limb amputees and osseointegration cases.
Elaine qualified in 2003 and went on to practice in specialist orthotic clinics in Chicago, USA for 4 years. Elaine then returned to the UK to lead the orthotic provision at Great Ormond Street Hospital, University College of London Hospital and The National Hospital for Neurology. Elaine joined Blatchford Clinic in 2017 as Principal Orthotist. Elaine’s clinical experience includes all levels of upper and lower limb including limb salvage, diabetic care, neurology, orthopaedic and paediatric. Elaine is now specially trained in Momentum provision and rehabilitation and treats patients throughout the UK as part of the Momentum team.
Peter has worked as a dual practicing clinician since graduating in 2012. He currently holds orthotic and prosthetic clinics across South Yorkshire. Peter is part of the pre-preg carbon fibre development team and the Momentum team; running the fortnightly Momentum clinic in Sheffield. A previous degree in 3D design and career working with multiple materials, combined with an active lifestyle, has naturally led to an interest in higher activity medical devices, such as the Momentum brace.
Bill graduated in 2001 and has a depth of experience in many areas ranging from Cardiology to Oncology. Since 2012, Bill has specialised in amputee rehabilitation, working within the NHS, with veterans and with private patients. In recent years, Bill has worked with Blatchford Clinic to offer amputee rehabilitation and is now also working as part of the Momentum team, specially trained in delivering rehabilitation to patients using the Momentum brace.
