Blatchford Clinical Services has won the prosthetics supply contract for the Northampton Artificial Limb Service.

Blatchford Clinical Services has won the prosthetics supply contract for the Northampton Artificial Limb Service. Blatchford clinicians
and technicians began working on the 17th May 2010 to provide prosthetic services to around 580 lower limb and 70 upper limb
patients who attend the centre The service will continue to be based at the Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust site.

Two Prosthetists, including the manager, three technicians and a administrator/store person all transferred under TUPE from the
previous provider to the Blatchford team. This experienced and knowledgeable team will assist in ensuring continuity of care and
clinical excellence for the patients at the centre.

Blatchford will be working closely with the NHS Centre Manager, Rehabilitation Consultant and the rest of the Multi-Disciplinary team: including physiotherapist, occupational therapist and the NHS administration support team, to deliver and enhance a first class clinical service. The centre has a strong user group and we will continue to liaise with the group through the centre management team.
