The move to the olive green colour and the new logo represent our global position as a Prosthetic & Orthotic company and our relationship with healthcare, innovation and the environment.
This will compliment the product’s division re-branding which began earlier in 2008.
For nearly 120 years the Blatchford name has been linked with providing excellent rehabilitation services and “putting the patient first”. For the last five years we have been pursuing a strategy of re-inventing ourselves in order to meet the new challenges of the changing demands of markets and patients and in particular the modern NHS. “All this is part of an overriding message, which it that Blatchford is the company which offers and delivers innovation. We invest heavily in training our clinicians. We have a strong team of dedicated managers who will work with the NHS to improve services. The company will continue to invest in forward looking projects which utilise the opportunities technology offers.” Stephen Blatchford, CEO
We are now in a position to move into the next cycle of our strategy. This will maintain the clinical excellence, caring attitude and reputation for delivering that the Blatchford name is synonymous with, but will also focus on new and innovative ways of improving and extending the range of services we provide and the way in which we provide them.
“The NHS is modernising and we are changing our service to align with the new customer requirement. This means we have to be at the cutting edge of service delivery using flexible thinking and innovation in everything we do” Adrian Stenson, Clinical Service Director.
The new brand will reinforce our position as an innovative provider of prosthetic, orthotic and seating services. We will provide a service that is clinically excellent, caring and secure, which delivers what it promises.
• Every day we invest time with the NHS looking for new solutions to improve the experience for patients and reduce the time taken to deliver treatments.
• Our managers and clinicians work together on projects collecting new clinical evidence to show the effectiveness of what we do and then use this as a means for further improvement.
• We will innovate using technology to improve services to patients. CADCAM, ProLink, and OMS are all examples of how the company has invested in new ways to develop service. This investment will continue.
• New product development has delivered innovative and unique products for prosthetic patients and investment in new technologies and footwear manufacture has delivered improvements for orthotic patients. New designs are underway for an exciting modular seating solution.
These are all examples of how we are innovating every day in order to provide a better service. Innovation and Blatchford are one and the same!
