Stephen Blatchford CEO Nominated for IoD Award
The Institute of Directors annual awards ceremony was held at a prestigious event at the Landmark Hotel in Marylebone, London on March 23rd. Stephen Blatchford and a group of Blatchford Directors were present to celebrate Stephen's nomination for a Director of the Year Award.
The nomination was in recognition of Stephen's outstanding leadership of his company in recent years through a period of turmoil in the national and international trading environment. This has meant the creation of a focussed strategy of product and service innovation which marks its success in the number of NHS clinical contract tenders gained in recent years plus the plethora of product awards won for such products as the Echelon Foot.
Entrants for the IoD award are nominated by third parties and undergo rigorous vetting and interviewing in order to make the shortlist of 3 nominees per award. Chris Dodson, Chairman of Iod South said: " It impressed me greatly how all the nominees and particularly the finalists have clearly shown outstanding leadership and management competence during such a difficult trading period"
