CNC Support Technician: Basingstoke
Part-time 16-20 hours per week/4 hours per day
We are recruiting a part-time Support Technician to be based in our CNC section in Basingstoke
The role:
• Catalogue, store and manage both new and used tooling and manual gauges
• Pre-set turning machine tools
• Good manufacturing practice maintain tidiness of all areas of CNC section
• Manage consumables
• Support secondary operations as applicable (deburring, honing etc)
• Carry out preventative planned maintenance as appropriate
• Move raw metal material
• Restock bar and billet racks
• Keep external area to CNC clean and tidy
The person:
• Machine experience
• Capable of setting tooling
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Systematic approach
