Blatchford Clinical Services delivers specialist rehabilitation for private and government healthcare organisations including NHS Trusts, Ministry of Defence, private clinics and insurance companies. With over 130 clinicians representing professions that include: prosthetics, orthotics, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nursing, rehabilitation engineering and specialist seating, Blatchford staff successfully look after individual patient needs in more than 250,000 appointments each year.
Patients are offered choice in the design and selection of their equipment. As well as listening to individual patients, we capture patient feedback from across our services using feedback forms and surveys. As a result patients can shape the services provided and have a clear voice to demand improvements in the way their care is delivered.
We aim to deliver our services in locations which are most suitable for patients. Accurate specification and fabrication of products reduces the number of journeys patients are required to make. The co-ordination required reduces the time taken for patients to receive their equipment and so they receive the health benefits sooner.
We understand that for patients the process of care can be stressful and confusing. We train our staff to develop excellent listening skills so that they understand how patients feel and respond to their needs. By focusing on eliminating processes which add no real value we can provide our clinicians with the time patients want when they visit our clinics.
